LSD - The Wonder Child: Golden Age of Psychedelic Research

Psychedelic research boomed in the 1950s, and this book finally details the reasons as to why. Exploring the different groups, from research labs to the military, this guide will take you on a ride through scientists like Robert Hyde and Rosalind Heywood and how the CIA's notorious programs led into their work. Exploring how philosophers, parapsychologists, and mystics sought after this strange drug to usher in a new age of human awareness, this extensive account of the LSD studies of the 1950s is a truly trippy experience.(This title may contain a sharpie mark on the top or bottom edge and may show mild signs of shelfwear.)
