Rochard Holiday Snowman Limoges Box

Bundled up in a coat for the cold, a cheerful snowman stands ready for winter in this Rochard holiday box. He is shaped and hand-painted on porcelain in Limoges, France.

Dressed for the First Frost

Snowmen are among the friendliest symbols of the season, and this one has dressed the part with a coat against the chill. Rochard includes him in its Christmas and winter group, and every detail is painted by hand, so each snowman has slightly different features.

A Snowy Shelf Lineup

• A Rochard snowman design
• Fits a winter, snowman or Christmas collection
• Pairs with mitten, sled and snowflake pieces

December Through February

Unlike Santa or the Nativity, a snowman can stay out long after the tree comes down. Set this one on a holiday mantel in December and leave him on a windowsill through the last snow of February. He makes a fun present for a ski instructor, a winter birthday or the neighbor who builds the best snowman on the block.

Snowman collectors often gather a whole crowd of different figures. This coated fellow adds a well-dressed member to the group, and he never melts when the thermostat goes up.
